Пишемо есе англійською на задану тему. The purpose of Education

During all my life I often thought why people must study and what purpose of their education is. When I was a child and studied at school I thought that education was very boring and unnecessary occupation. My parents always told me that it would be necessary for me in future but at that period I didn’t understand them. I was a good pupil and had good and excellent marks but I had no interest in education. I studied well because the teachers and parents told that it was necessary. Some subjects were interesting for me but the process of education itself was uninspired and blah. When I finished my education at school I didn’t know what I wanted to do in future. I could not decide who I wanted to be. My parents tried to help me to choose the right way in my life. And I understood that the decision I had to make was very important for my future life. The question of who I wanted to be ultimately reflected my attitudes and beliefs about my life itself. The inability to make informed decisions - that's what distinguishes many students today. Nearly all my schoolmates were going to get higher education. Some of them thought that a university diploma would help them to get a good job. The other decided to study because of their parents, some of my friends wanted simply to party. There were some of them which simply had enough money to pay for the course of studing at the university. So I also decided to continue my education at the university. When I entered the university I realized that the process of education was more difficult than I have imagined. Sometimes it seemed that some things we have studied were good for nothing. A lot of material and a great deal of tasks sometimes seemed impossible to do. Sometimes I was in despair. But at a certain period my mind began to arrange everything on the shelves. And eventually I began to realize the purpose of education. People learn not in order to learn. This is an ongoing process. But something must be obtained at the given stages. I began to realize that knowledge is the foundation that allows you to build your own world, to have your own views and to be an active driving force. Now I understand that not a diploma is worth. What is a diploma? A sheet of paper only with qualification, subjects which you do not even remember, with the official stamp. It is not knowledge and skills. In the world there are many people who do not have a paper with the official seal, but they understand and know what they do. So I think that knowledge is important not a document about it.University - is a good starting place for all. Moreover, there you learn to work with a huge amount of information. But it is not necessarily to dig into the books and it is not necessary to participate in all student activities. At the university you can learn a lot of useful thing, if you know what they will be necessary for. And here you gradually begin to realize what is more essential for you and what is less. And the University is a place where you learn to think. The ability to think helps us to understand how the world works, to understand ourselves and other people, to analyze our actions and deeds and and to make the right decisions. And of course the university suggests youthe acquisition of new friends and developing social skills. This is one of the most useful things that a person receives in the course of study at the university. And this is the invaluable experience you can get in your life. Now I am sure that foreign languages will help me to realize myself in my life. Now I want to learn as much as possible in order to use the knowledge I have got in future. I have learned to study, to work with information, to use the material I have learned in practice. So now I know how important education in human life is and how positive it can influence the future of a person. The education I have already got gives me a chance to communicate freely with people abroad, to find a job (even abroad), to teach other people foreign languages. It gives me more abilities to get information and to use it in my life, to study other cultures, to learn much about other countries and people. And it helps me to earn money and to ensure a decent future for my family and my future children.I believe that my education will help me in my future life to become more successful and happy and it will give me a start to become a well-educated, a good looking, a communicative and a sociable person.Summing up, I want to say that the purpose of education is to support children in developing the skills, the knowledge, and the dispositions that will allow them to be responsible, contributing members of their community-their democratically-informed community. Education helps them to be a good friend, to be a good mate, to be able to work, and to contribute to the well-being of the community.

Приклад твору англійською мовою. Healthy lifestyle

In our everyday life it is very cool to have a healthy lifestyle. But what does it mean?It means, that you have to do sports regularly, have not bad habits (smoking, drinking alcohol or taking drugs) and also the most important is to eat healthy food. How do we know that this or that product is good for our health? We get such information from the doctors especially nutritionists from the medical journals and newspapers, from TV programs among which the TV shows are the most effective. From the most useful health food for the morning breakfast, people take a porridge. We know about its beneficial features and its effects on the body and health. But how to cook a delicious dish for yourself and for the whole family? And how to make it attractive to children? With the help of this, we have to watch the video by Jamie Oliver «How to Make a Perfect Porridge – 5 ways». In this video, he gives us the different ways how to cook porridge and with which ingredients we can connect porridge to make it more delicious and tasty. This is a cooking show presented by a cooking chef (Jamie Oliver). The action takes place in a kitchen studio. The chef (Jamie) gives us the recipe of porridge with different food supplements. He is standing at the table on which we can see ingredients for making a porridge (flakes, milk, water) and tools (cups, saucepan, wooden spoon, knife). And also he explains to the audience how to use this or that tool or ingredient. The whole show may be divided into two parts. In the first part, Jamie Oliver explains to us how to cook porridge. He declares which amount of flakes and water is necessary to prepare the dish of an optimal consistency. And he shows in detail the whole process of cooking the basic porridge including the time of cooking, the way of stirring it, on which heat we may do this and some other nuances. He also tells about cooking the porridge with milk. From the second part of the show, we learn with what we can eat the porridge and how to decorate the ready dish. He shows the different ingredients such as brown sugar, golden syrup, poppy seeds, desiccated coconut, cinnamon, bananas and honey, stewed fruits and tells how to use them with the basic porridge. Using them separately with the porridge we get 5 different dishes with different tastes. The language of the speaker is quite understandable and easy. It is designed for ordinary people. Jamie doesn’t use difficult terms, he speaks the everyday language and everyone can understand him and his advice. Also, he uses pauses when it is necessary and shows how to do this or that. His intonation patterns are very suitable for every process. He uses a lot of adjectives to describe prepared porridge like «beautiful», «homogeneous», «gorgeous» and this shows us that he likes what he is doing.During the whole video, Jamie is working with the audience. He uses a lot of questions and gives the right answers to them. Also, he gives a lot of background information and opinions of other people. He also uses examples of his relatives like of his wife and granddad and it makes us feel comfortable. He doesn’t use jargon or slang, because for some people it would be not understandable. He uses prepositional phrases, adjectives, adverbs to make his speech more colorful and interesting. His extraordinary gestures help him to influence on the audience and make a good impression on it.The show is very useful for young mothers, people who like to eat healthy food, for those who cannot cook and for everyone who wants to diversify his ration. Even those who cook and eat porridge every day got some new information from this video. Besides his porridge in all his variants looks so tasty that even those who never ate porridge before will try it. And of course, it is simply pleasant to listen to such an unordinary person like Jamie Oliver. He is so cheerful and full of life that one can not help but admire him.
