In high school, I scored 1590/1600 on the SAT (800 on mathematics and 790 on combined reading and writing). I also scored in the top five percent of grade school students participating in the American Mathematics Contest 12 (AMC 12), qualifying for the American Invitational Mathematics Exam. I was honored as a U.S. Presidential Scholar by the White House, one of two from my home state. At Stanford University, I majored in biology and minored in international relations. I finished with an unweighted GPA of 3.94/4.00. I am currently doing predoctoral biology research in Germany. I have experience publishing academic and non-academic articles, so I can teach both English language skills and rhetoric.
