Hello! My name is Elena Avakyants and I'm an English teacher.
A little bit about me:
- I began teaching English in 2006
- I have more than 10 years of experience teaching adults and children conversation classes, Business English, IELTS preparation
- I love to travel and have lived more than 7 years abroad in UAE, Thailand and Netherlands
What is class like?
- I believe class needs to be student-centered and fun. That means class is built around your goals, needs and interests.
- I want you to feel engaged and comfortable in class so that you can practice with confidence. Don't worry about making mistakes! They are proof that you are learning something new.
- According to your goals and needs, class will focus on one or a mix of the following skills: grammar, pronunciation and intonation, vocabulary, spoken fluency, reading, writing and listening.
- Class activities will include a mix of exercises, games, questions, discussions, role-playing activities, listening exercises, pronunciation practices, short presentations and more...the possibilities are endless!
