In teaching English, I find it most beneficial to use the Direct method, in which students can gain a better understanding of the use of language in settings they will encounter in day-to-day life.
Providing students with common phrases and dialogue through the Audio-Lingual and Aural-Oral method, and subsequently drilling responses with the student, helps to make their conversation more fluid, which in turn, helps them to communicate effectively while speaking with confidence!
